Identify Flowers, Plants and Trees

 

The Japanese cherry blossoms caught my eye during one of my many walks in the neighborhood. Lately, I've been experimenting with the Portrait Natural Light mode on the iPhone 11 Pro and boy, have I collected a lot of tulips, azaleas and daisies in the last weeks. I find walking so peaceful, nourishing and invigorating...and flowers just make me smile! I've enjoyed sharing their cheerful colors with family and friends via shared albums and texts.

A friend just introduced me to PictureThis, an iPhone/iPad app that identifies flowers, plants and trees. I have been experimenting with it and so far have identified 50 species including a divinely scented viburnum and an eye catching flowering horse chestnut. I'm learning!
