Digitally Sign Documents

A tech question I often receive is "how do you digitally sign documents you receive by email?" This is much easier than it was before as we can now sign documents directly in the Mail app on your iPhone/iPad and email them back to the sender or to someone else. Here are the step-by-step instructions:

To digitally sign a PDF document you've received and then email it, follow these steps:

  1. Open the MAIL app

  2. Tap the specific email

  3. Tap the PDF attachment to open

  4. Scroll to the page requiring a signature

  5. Tap Markup (top right)
